La Chouffe starts off with some citrus notes, followed by a refreshing touch, pleasantly spiced to give it great brightness. This golden beer, with its light taste of hops, was the very first to come out of the Achouffe brewery’s vats 40 years ago. Since then, its unique flavours have won it several awards, and conquered the hearts of beer lovers the world over.

Stale...
I bought two of these beers. They tasted off and I had to tip them out. Nothing what La Chouffe normally tastes like. Won't be buying them again from Beer Cartel.

Enjoyable drop
LA CHOUFFE from Belgium.
Available in Aust/N.Z.

Lovely colour being poured into glass with subtle aroma. Looks good. Nice head that held on.
First taste was creamy. Hangs around in ya mouth bit like an aussie dark, but more subtle. . Cheers

Excellent beer
One of the nicest beers I have tried. Rich in flavour and holds a very nice head.

Very good
This is a great beer. It's my third favourite of my go-to Belgium ales: the first is Triple Karmeliet; the second is Delirium.

Excellent beer. 10/10
I'm just starting to get into these stronger, more complex high end beers, and this is the best one I've had so far.
Beer looks sensational in a glass. Beautiful dense golden colour, with a creamy white head. Smells wonderfully fruity. Taste picks up where the nose left. I'm no good at describing it, but it's beautiful. Very smooth mouth feel that leaves you wanting more. You wouldn't know it's 8%
