Named Grande Reserve in 750ml bottles, it is principally distinguished by its character as a strong beer. The fragrance of fresh yeast with a light, flowery, rosy touch is especially pleasant. This is a top fermented Trappist beer re-fermented in the bottle and not pasteurised.

Most Favourite...
Chimay Blue is one of my all time favourites in Trappist beers.
A Dark Strong Ale rich in malt, both fruity and peppery at the same time. Hints of chocolate and dried fruits of plums and raisins.
This is truly an “Authentic Trappist Product”
Give this one a try, you won’t be disappointed.

God bless those Trappist Monks!
God bless those Trappist Monks for devising such an amazing brew. My partner and I call it the "truth serum" as we always have the best D&Ms whilst partaking in our favourite Friday knock off work activity.. a bottle (or two) of this amazing beefy brew. One of my favourite Belgian Beers, it warms the cockles of your heart and makes you feel all fuzzy inside. This is a top fermented Trappist beer re-fermented in the bottle and not pasteurised.

Good
I think Chimay is overrated in general, but Chimay Blue is better than the others.
